The 1st of June, 1877, a group of American Artists bid the National Academy of Design farewell and established the Society of American Artists. First members included Albert Pinkham Ryder, John LaFarge, Robert Swain Gifford and Alexander Helwig Wyant. Today’s wallpaper goes out to the pioneers, the nonconformists, the craftsmen and women of the American landscape.
