Miami Product Photographer Kate Benson | Down on The Ranch

A few weeks ago, I did a two-day shoot at a ranch in Davie, Florida. This was the beginning of a busy eight full days of shooting for two different clients. This particular shoot was for Cosabella, whose team is wonderful to work with. The location had pastures, horse corrals, a cabin and working windmill, barns, a true western town and an authentic saloon. They also had all kinds of animals including horses, cows, goats, sheep, donkeys and even camels. The baby animals were adorable. It was fun exploring our various options for shooting all around the ranch.

Thanks to the wonderful Cosabella team and Livestock for Reel for a successful shoot.

Ecommerce Photographer Miami

Welcome to Monday. My day has started with retouching the 422 photo’s I took of shoes Friday. I’m completely beat from running the Miami ING 1/2 marathon yesterday and I am booked Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. Glad that the fashion accessories e-commerce photography business is booming but also have to laugh a bit at the “when it rains it pours” truth in my life. Next week is also scheduling up really full and all I want to do is take a nap! I’m only 307 photo’s away from that nap…. Which basically means I’ll be working through the night. But after the changes that have happened 2012 so far, I’m happy for the work and to be busy is always good for a freelance photographer.

Fun from this mornings shoot

My great clients Lola James Jewelry came over today and for the first time instead of just product photography for their website they needed a creative shot. We talked over a few ideas and I gave them this fun one. Hey, it’s not wrong that I get excited about still life photography. Everyone has his or her thing right?
